My shopping is coming to a close this month due to traveling. Since I can’t sleep I thought I would calculate my savings and I can’t believe it. Look at savings for the month of May:
Cost of Products (Pre-coupon/discount): $1447.22
Total Spent (with Gift Cards/Rewards, etc): $392.78
Gift Cards/Rewards, etc Used: $122.25
Out of Pocket Spent: $270.25
May Rebates--Cash & Gift Cards: $438.53
So this is the result for the month of May: PROFIT of $168.28
This obsession of couponing/rebating is really paying off!

Why Hula Hoop Mom?
Imagine a photo of a woman with 8 or 9 hula hoops swinging madly around her waist. Although she has much activity her face has a peaceful smile. She has found a rhythm--a center and with that center everything moves around it.
All our lives are full of hula hoops. We have responsibilities, important things--our list of our "to dos". The one thing we need is to find a center. A heart centered in God alone.
This blog is some of my daily struggles and trying to find that center.

This year my oldest is going to public school so I am only homeschooling my preschool son so I am not using much curriculum.
